I haven't had pudding poke cake since I was a kid. I still remember how good it was. The great part is that you can use whatever kind of cake you want and whatever flavor pudding you want. I don't remember cool whip on it, but it would be good. I have thought of making one, but wasn't sure how much pudding I would need or if I should poke the holes when the cake was hot or wait until cool. Now, I know!
