Starbucks Via Review

"I made Starbuck’s recipe for Double Chocolate Cookies, baked with Starbucks VIA. These cookies are out of this world! They really should be called “triple chocolate cookies,” because the recipe includes chopped bittersweet chocolate, cocoa and chocolate chips! Mixed with coffee, it’s a chocolate-coffee delight!

The cookies have a subtle coffee taste that creates a perfect biting contrast with the sweet chocolate. These cookies taste like chocolate covered espresso beans, mmmmmmmmm! The recipe is easy to make and produces about four dozen cookies, which are bite-sized and akin to chocolate truffles in size and texture! The bright, bold taste of Starbucks VIA definitely shines through in these cookies."

"The Starbucks VIA Italian Roast instant coffee packets rock! While nothing beats a freshly brewed cup of joe, I don't always have time to brew a pot at home and buying coffee everyday is expensive. I love the convenience of instant coffee, but I normally despise its taste.

Luckily, this is way different. I was pleasantly surprised that it had the same rich strong flavor of Starbucks black coffee, but in a way more convenient form. Quality taste in an incredibly convenient package - what's not to love about that?

I tried the double chocolate cookies made with Starbucks VIA, and thought they were simply marvelous. This is a cookie for serious chocolate lovers, as it reeks of chocolate. The cookies overwhelmed my taste buds with marvelous chocolate taste. The addition of coffee is perfect as the bitter coffee notes perfectly balance out the sweet chocolate flavors in the cookie. This is a cookie recipe that you cannot afford to pass up!"

"I love coffee. In the morning, it's the only thing that will get me moving. I've never loved coffee-flavored treats, but all of that changed when I tried the Double Chocolate Cookies flavored with Starbucks VIA. One bite and I was hooked. The chocolate flavor is so rich - maybe too rich for some, but not for me. The chocolate flavor was much stronger than the coffee flavor; in fact, I could barely taste the coffee. If I could start my day with this cookie and not a plain old cup of coffee, my life would be complete. If you love all things chocolate, than you'll go crazy for these cookies."

"These cookies were so yummy and addictive, but small enough that I could have two in one sitting! I loved the deep coffee and chocolate flavors that made me feel like I was relaxing in a coffee shop (rather than stressing out at the office!). I did find the cookies a little crumbly because I tend to like my chocolate cookies a little under baked. I also thought they were salty enough that you could reduce the salt called for in the recipe if you need to limit your sodium intake."

"I consider myself something of a cookie aficionado, but nothing I have ever sampled or made compares to these Double Chocolate cookies. I am fortunate that they are not for sale at my local supermarket -- I'd certainly end up buying them by the ton. The addition of Starbucks VIA incorporates a level of flavor that transforms these bite-size morsels from your typical chocolate cookie into something akin to a mocha cappuccino, and the caffeine kick made it well worth the indulgence. The high density of chocolate chips keeps the bites round and fudgy, blending buttery, smooth truffle texture with soft, crumbly cookie. These little samples of sin are so memorably delicious; I'll have to resist consuming a batch per day."

"These super delicious double chocolate cookies might not hook you on the first bite, but your mouth will be watering by the time you finish it! You can faintly taste the Starbucks VIA, and it adds a nice jolt to otherwise plain chocolate cookies. They are small enough to pop in your mouth, and you'll soon be grabbing another before you finish the first one! Starbucks VIA is not only used for instant coffee, but can be used to jazz up even basic cookies."

"These little chunks of heaven are more than just cookies - they are morsels from the gods. I don't know how a recipe managed to pack so much chocolate into such a small cookie, but chocolate lovers should rejoice because somehow it worked. Helping to complement the chocolate is a dash of Starbucks VIA instant coffee which creates the perfect blend of caffeine and cocoa. I highly recommend these tasty treats for coffee and chocolate lovers alike."

"Is there anything better than the combination of coffee and chocolate? I think not! This recipe for Double Chocolate Cookies has the perfect balance between rich cocoa and bitter coffee and is simply an explosion of flavor in your mouth. The texture of these cookies is also excellent... just moist enough that you don't necessarily need a glass of milk, although I'm sure these cookies would be delicious served with a dairy beverage as well. Any fan of Starbucks VIA coffee should definitely try this recipe for a rich and caffeinated treat!"

"Heaven in a handful! That’s the best way to describe the Double Chocolate Cookies made with Starbucks VIA. I have to admit that, not being a coffee drinker, I was a bit skeptical about how cookies made with intense Starbucks VIA would taste – but I am skeptical no longer! Chocolate lovers everywhere will fall in love with these Double Chocolate Cookies. They bake up moist and hearty, and have the perfect blend of coffee and chocolate for a mocha dream."

"I really liked the Double Chocolate Cookies made with Starbucks Via. They have a nice density, though not too dense. I liked the embedded chips. Almost like a hidden treasure inside each bite.
Would have been great with a glass of milk, but I don’t have here at my office."

"The Double Chocolate Cookies were nothing short of delicious. It's the perfect little bite for anytime you need a quick chocolate and/or coffee fix. The coffee taste wasn't overwhelming but was a great addition to the moist treats."
