Blender Sweet Butter
Blender Sweet Butter is great as a gift with fresh bread or to make for your guests. It makes a small amount, but you will love the sweet, fresh taste.
I have made this many times. If you're doing it to be fun and creative, great! But it's cheaper to buy butter, as this makes a very small amount. I add about 1/2 teaspoon salt to preserve it better. Lots of fun to give as a gift with homemade bread.

- 1 cup light whipping cream
- 1/2 cup ice water
- Chill the blender. Blend cream at high speed about 15 seconds, or until the cream coats the blades.
- Add ice water. Continue to blend at high speed until the butter rises to the surface.
- Strain off the butter. Press out any additional moisture; mold and chill. Keep the liquid residue to add to soup; it is not rich enough to substitute for buttermilk.
