These delicious slow cooker bbq ribs are so simple to make and turn out great every time. By making ribs in your slow cooker, you'll create tender, fall-off-the-bone morsels that are sure to "wow" at your next barbecue. Slow cooker ribs are great for summer because you can free up the grill for other things like burgers and hot dogs. This simple recipe uses basic, yet flavorful ingredients for the marinade including BBQ sauce and brown sugar. The ribs are rubbed with salt and pepper and placed in the slow cooker where they are then covered in sauce and cooked to tender perfection. Make sure to save some of the extra sauce for dipping!

Wow. What a way to enjoy BBQ ribs. I can imagine the super tender ribs after 4 hours of slow cooking smothered in the sweet BBQ sauce. A rewarding treat after a tiring day at work.

YAY!!! Another great meal made in my brand new slow cooker! These BBQ Slow Cooker Ribs really ARE the Best - deliciously tangy, tasty and fabulously spiced. 5 gold stars to the recipe compiler! Back ribs are a relatively economical cut of beef in South Africa making this a welcome bonus meal for our family of 5.

Tried this recipe? What did you think?

This sounds decadent! I am always on the lookout for slow cooker recipes. Not only do I not have to worry about turning and basting, but it usually makes the house smell wonderful too! I am definitely going to give this a try. I have some ribs I have been wondering if I had the patience to cook, now I do!
