Five Ingredient Pot Roast

Chances are you have everything you need to make this Five Ingredient Pot Roast this weekend. This slow cooker pot roast is a great way to use up some left over vegetables you have in your fridge.

  • 3 pounds roast
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup water or beef broth
  • 3 carrots, thinly sliced


  1. Place meat, onions, potatoes, water, and carrots int he slow cooker.  Add more water to cover the meat, if necessary.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.  Salt and pepper to taste.
