Soft, chewy Oatmeal Cookies with Chocolate Chips are an awesome snack! These are seriously the best Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies that I have ever had! They are actually based on my grandmother’s oatmeal raisin cookie recipe. Except they are way better because, instead of raisins, they are full of chocolate chips. Not that there is anything wrong with raisins. It is just that chocolate chips make a whole lot of things better!

I have made these, and my family loves them! It's the best of both worlds when you have oatmeal and chocolate chips! I like the chewy texture of the oatmeal and the sweetness of the chocolate. I'll make another batch for the holidays. I'm thinking about substituting MM minis for the chocolate chips.

I don't know why so many people dislike oatmeal raisin cookies! I think they're delicious! This recipe does a good job of satisfying both groups of cookie lovers.
