    Easy Maple Fudge

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 stick) butter or margarine
    • 3 cups sugar
    • l can (5oz) evaporated milk (2/3 cup)
    • 11 or 12 ounce pkg white chocolate chips
    • 1 jar (7 oz) Marshmallow Creme
    • 2 cups chopped nuts - walnuts are good and pecans even better
    • 1-2 tsp maple flavoring

    Instructions

    Lightly grease 13x9 inch or 9 inch square pan. Mix margarine, sugar and milk in a heavy 2 1/2 - 3 quart saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes on medium heat or until mixture reaches 234 degrees on a candy thermometer, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat and add white chocolate chips, stirring till melted. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Cool at room temperature and cut into squares.
