I love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate and to have these combined into a cake just makes me very happy. I could easily see doing this as a birthday cake for my wife, who is addicted to the peanut butter/chocolate combination as I am. If I made it that way, I'd decorate the top with the Reese Cup Minis rather than the extra chocolate chips.

Wow......a cake made with peanut butter and chocolate chips! These are great ingredients for cookies so I imagine their flavors would go really well with the texture of cake. I bake peanut butter cookies often and chocolate cookies made with cocoa powder. This recipe now inspires me to try a chocolate swirl peanut butter cake!
