    Notes

    Ingredients

    • 8 ounces sirloin beef steak
    • 2 tablespoons flour
    • 1 medium onion, sliced
    • 1/2 pound mushrooms – any kind
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/3 cup sour cream
    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 pound egg noodles or pasta

    Instructions

    1. Cook noodles or pasta as mentioned on a package.

    2. Cover steak pieces with 1 tablespoon of flour. Then take skillet and fry them on high heat with oil until they get color for about 1 minute per side (don’t overcook, I want them medium rare) and then take them out.

    3. Then place onion and mushrooms on a skillet and let them caramelize for 5 minutes or until they start to get color. Add the rest of the flour and mix it in well until all the flour is incorporated.

    4. Season well with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.

    5. Add milk, lower the heat and let it cook until reduced to half and thickened.

    6. Add sour cream and meat, let it warm thru for 1 minute and serve on top of the noodles.
