Outrageous Brownies

These Outrageous Brownies are so outrageously good, they'll be devoured instantly! With loads of chocolate chips and a hint of espresso, this is unlike any other chocolate brownie recipes you've tried.


  • 4 sticks unsalted butter
  • 5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons powdered instant espresso
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups walnuts, chopped


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a double boiler, melt together the butter with half of the chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate until smooth. Cool to room temperature.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, espresso, vanilla, and sugar. Stir in chocolate mixture and mix. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold in remaining chocolate chips and walnuts.
  4. Pour into a standard-sized brownie pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool overnight in refrigerator.
