I used to love Mcdonalds' mcmuffins when I was little! This casserole sounds so yummy!

I love breakfast muffins so I am keen to make a casserole which has them in it. I like to throw things in the oven and leave them to cook too. If it makes a whole lot of food I am happy as then we can eat it the next day too. I think this recipe is definitely a winner.

When the recipe calls for egg and bacon ingredients, you can be sure, it's gonna be a complete meal. Egg is a complete food and bacon is a rich source of protein so when you have this in your diet, you can never go hungry. This Egg and Bacon McMuffin Casserole Egg Bake is a sure winner.

Filling, very tasty, easy to make and the whole family enjoyed it too so that makes this recipe a winner all round! I missed the part about cutting off the tops of the muffins but it still worked out fine. It is a bit like having a wonderfully delicious bacon and egg deliciously cheesy toasted muffin sandwich. Very good!

To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of egg bakes. I think it has to do with the slightly soggy texture of the eggs, but I would be willing to give this recipe a shot.

Hi there Kathryn16 Perhaps you could increase the oven temp or bake the dish for a little big longer. There was no sogginess at all when we did it over the weekend and I would really recommend you try cos it is really delicious. Good luck!

I love the breakfast Egg McMuffin sandwiches (especially the sausage version) and I was really pleased when they became an all-day item. This recipe looks absolutely delicious and I can't wait to give it a try. She also has a Sausage McMuffin version and I recommend looking at that as well since she refined the recipe a bit from the original bacon version. I would add some salsa to the top when serving, but that's just my personal preference.

I would definitely like to try the sausage McMuffin version. I prefer sausages to bacon actually so thanks for letting us know this Edmund K. It may be nice too with some slices of cheese layered on top. If you gonna do it you may as well do it well!
