I always have a ton of really good ham leftover after the holidays, and this is a fun new use for it, compared to making sandwiches or a pot of soup. I am not a big fan of corned beef myself, so this rendition of hash is right up my alley! I bet if you had a big chunk of leftover roast beef you could cube it up and make this kind of skillet dish also.

Ham hash is good. It is good to make when you have leftover ham. I always buy a big ham so I have ham left to use for other meals. If you don't have celery, a green pepper will work well. I actually like both red and green pepper added.

How much ham?

The written recipe has been updated to include 1 pound cooked, cubed ham. Thank you for your question.

You have omitted the quantity of ham from the written recipe?????
