Instead of using a seasoning mix to prepare taco meat, why not season your own taco filling? Cooking without seasoning mixes is easy if you have a good recipe. When making this, I would use lean ground beef or ground turkey, and unsalted tomato sauce. I like to serve my tacos with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and salsa.

This family loves their taco nights. I am always looking for new fresh ideas for tacos. I like that the meat freezes well so I can make plenty ahead of time and be ready to reheat and eat. Tacos are the one thing the whole family can agree on.
