I needed to find this recipe for Granny's Beloved Peanut Butter Bars. I love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate, and I often find myself snacking on peanut butter, sometimes spread on crackers, sometimes by the spoonful right out of the jar. This recipe makes a generous batch of bars to keep on hand when the snacking crave takes over.

These definitely qualify as beloved just based on their ingredient list! The ingredient list may seem a little lengthy but they are all common, household products that you may already have! Feel free to get creative and substitute with other nut butters like almond, cashew, or sunflower butters for a unique flavor each time!

What a yummy recipe with easy-to-find ingredients! Seems like the home-made version to Reese's peanut butter cups. These were a favorite of mine as a kid. The oats seem to add an extra little crunch to the bars. I'll have to try these soon as any dessert with chocolate and peanut butter combined should be terrific!

They were really good.From TBartlow
