Make Ahead Cheese Puffs

By: Oliso

If you want to make the world's easiest party appetizers, look no further than these incredibly simple cheese-filled dough bites. These Make Ahead Cheese Puffs have just three basic ingredients and can be frozen until you're ready to serve them. A true life-saver when you're in a foodie pinch, these cheesy delights will wow your crowd and make your time in the kitchen a whole lot easier.

Makes: 20

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry
  • 6 ounces brie, trimmed of rind
  • 2 tablespoons mango chutney
  1. To Make: Defrost and roll out the pastry according to directions. Cut roughly 3 inch squares.
  2. Spread each square with 1/4 teaspoon mango chutney and top with 1 teaspoon brie. Fold the squares diagonally to form a triangle. Crimp the edges or pinch together firmly to seal.
  3. To Frisp: Freeze on a baking sheet until solid. Place in a gallon Frisper bag and frisp.
  4. To Serve: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Remove from Frisper bag and place triangles on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown and puffed. Allow to cool 5 minutes before serving.
