"How to make old fashioned dill pickles. This has a dill and garlic flavor and lots of crunch. This is a small batch recipe that makes 2 quarts, but you can double it or triple it for a larger batch. Add pickle crisp for crunchy pickles. These need to sit for a month before you can eat them, so make them as soon as your cucumbers are ripe. This is a recipe that's been passed down in my family and tweaked for the best canned dill pickles."
