This image courtesy of

This moist turkey recipe is filled with Blue cheese and served with a rich onion gravy. Blue Cheese Stuffed Steak with Gravy makes a great family or company entree and will be a delight.

Preparation Time1 hr 10 min

Cooking Time20 min

  • 16 ounces Butterball fresh all natural turkey burger patties
  • 4 ounces blue cheese crumble
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups onions, thinly sliced
  • 12 ounces Heinz homestyle turkey gravy

  1. Place each turkey burger between 2 pieces of waxed paper. Press to 3/8-inch thickness.
  2. Place 1 ounce of the Blue cheese crumbles 1/2-inch from the edge on half of the patty. Fold patty over cheese. Seal edges together. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  3. For Onion Gravy, melt butter in medium skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions. Cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Stir in gravy. Heat to simmer.
  4. Meanwhile, spray a large skillet with cooking spray. Heat on medium heat. Add cheese-stuffed turkey burgers. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning half way through cooking time until burgers reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  5. Place burgers on serving platter. Top with Onion Gravy.
