Well you can add another feather in my cap with my little nieces and nephews. They absolutely love when I give them homemade fruit roll ups as a treat. Their parents like the fact that they are healthy. My favorite fruits to use are strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. These are so easy to prepare, I make up two batches at a time on separate cookie sheets, so I have plenty on hand. They make a great snack for me too.

I went out and bought one of those fancy (and expensive) food dehydrators for making healthy snacks, but I haven't had very much luck with the fruit leathers. They were coming out rather on the brownish side, since I apparently wasn't using enough lemon juice. Thanks for the useful tip!

I can't believe you can make fruit roll-ups with just 3 ingredients! I used to love eating them as a kid.
