Simple slow cooker French Onion Soup

Everyone loves French onion soup! Try this easy slow cooker version of this classic soup and wow your family. This is perfect after a long day at work or as a nice hearty meal on a rainy day.

Notes

The sugar aids the browning process. Place a slice of french bread in each serving dish. Place a slice of jack, mozzarella or similar cheese over the bread. Pour hot soup over this combination. The result is wonderful!
