We always plant a lot of cabbage in our garden, but I don't nearly enough cabbage recipes to really enjoy it. I love that I found this! And then with bacon? I bet this will be delicious! I would probably not use the Nutmeg, but the rest of the ingredients sound wonderful! Now I can't wait to have my cabbage from the garden!

Omg yum! Bacon has never really been my thing but, when you toss in some butter and cabbage and I'm in. You can probably even use some sliced spicy smoked sausage or chunks of your favorite ham in this recipe too if you wanted, to convert it from a side dish to a hearty meal.

What a tasty little side dish! My wife and I both love cabbage and bacon, and it honestly never occurred to us to fry them together. I like the idea of using bok choy in place of regular cabbage, and I think a combination of the two would be interesting to try.

If you're going to fry cabbage, it's got to be in butter! There's something about the two together that makes them both better. I only add a little bacon, just enough to add flavor but not overpower the cabbage, and a little chopped sweet onion, too. Bok Choy cabbage is good for a little change of pace. If you want to save time, just buy a bag of coleslaw in the produce section, the chunkier cut, not angel hair.

I'm not much of a cabbage lover, but add bacon to it and apparently I love it! Definitely a great side dish!

I've never thought of combining fried cabbage and bacon before, but it's a tasty combination!
