    Sweet and Sour

    Ingredients

    • 15 ounces can pineapple chunks in juice
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup catsup
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 3 tablespoons vinegar
    • 3 tablespoons dry sherry or orange juice
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

    Instructions

    Drain the pineapple-save it to add to the stir fry. Mix the juice with the other ingredients. This is for sweet and sour fish. I used to use it on chicken, but I bet it would be good with tofu and/or vegetables. The sauce thickens nicely when it's cooked.
