Fresh Spinach Salad
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh leaf spinach, washed, trimmed
- 1 small can bean sprouts
- 1 small can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 4 boiled eggs, quartered
- 1/2 lb. cooked bacon, crumbled
Instructions
Arrange above ingredients in a bowl with eggs used as garnish on very top. Pour the following dressing over all just before serving and toss. Dressing 1 cup salad oil 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup vinegar 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/3 cup ketchup 1 small onion diced Put dressing in a jar with a lid and then shake it vigorously before pouring onto greens.
