Perfect for lunch or dinner, these pizza pockets are delicious! Put your favorite ingredients in them in order to make them just right. There's nothing you can do to ruin 'em. Alex's Pizza Pockets will become your new favorite thing. They're even good as an appetizer or after school snack.

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 12 pepperoni slices
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Parmesan cheese, to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Remove dough and cut into 4 portions. Press each portion into a circle.
  3. In a small bowl, combine pizza sauce, garlic powder, parsley and oregano.
  4. Spoon about 2 Tablespoons of sauce onto each dough portion, leaving about an inch around the edge.
  5. Top each with mozzarella, 3 pieces of pepperoni and a few mushrooms.
  6. Fold circle in half creating a crescent shape. Crimp and seal edges with a fork. Brush each with egg wash and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 25-35 minutes until golden brown. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.

Alex's Pizza Pockets are just the thing for after school snacks, or Saturday lunch with the kids. They are so easy to prepare, with simple ingredients that the kids love. They are also perfect for game day when the "fans" get hungry. I like mixing them up with some of my other favorite pizza toppings.

Alex's Pizza Pockets look so good. I was looking at the ingredients and they are all easy to find and affordable to the pocket. They could just be found right in your pantry. What's nice about this pizza is it is sealed and would not cause a mess.

I think pizza pockets are nice to carry around as snacks because they have the great taste of pizza but you don't have to worry about the toppings getting stuck to the packaging material. I prefer vegetarian pizza also, so I like using tomato chunks, sweet peppers and onions as toppings.

This would be a great snack for my son. He loves pizza. I would probably add some onion and Italian Sausage. We usually make our pizza's at home, they taste better than ordering out. This recipe sounds a lot easier to make. We will have to try it this weekend.

My youngest son loves pizza more than any other food. He will eat any kind, even those lunchable pizzas. Otherwise, he is extremely picky and it is hard to get him to try something if he doesn't like the way it looks. I think he would really love these. I will have to get the ingredients and try them.

Love pizza! I will have to try these.

I make my own version of this and it's delocious.

Looks like something my family will love on the weekends! Thanks :)
