Quebec Sugar Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 cups brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp maple extract
  • pie shell (bottom only)
  • nuts optional

Instructions

Beat with hand mixer brown sugar, flour and salt. Add gradually melted butter, eggs and milk, at low speed, enough to mix ingredients together. Add maple extract. Pour in a 10 inches pie shell (this pie is pretty big). Add nuts. Bake at 450F for 10 minutes and at 425F for 30 minutes.
