I was wondering what 3 types of meat have been used here. The recipe says the 3 types are Canadian bacon, pepperoni, and Italian sausage. Wow, my favorite processed meats in one dish. I'm glad that my children are now grown up to be able to take the not too spicy Italian sausage. I can't wait to make this for the family who loves to eat.

This is delicious. I like the idea of using finely chopped ham in place of the Canadian bacon (since I didn't have any on hand at the time), but when I made this, I just used regular bacon since I've had that as a pizza topping many times. I also used some chopped green pepper and chopped onion in the mix since those are also two of my usual pizza toppings.

My family loves whenever I make this recipe! Since Canadian bacon can sometimes be pricy, I just substitute finely diced ham. I like to buy ham steaks when they are on sale and freeze them. (they lay flat in my freezer and take up little space) Sometimes I add cooked mushrooms and onions to sneak even more veggies into it.

We live on a smallholding and plant chillies, tomatoes, bell peppers and brinjals for market. Organic products bursting with flavour and goodness, Once a year i get all the tomatoes that have been bruised etc. I then make my own bottled pasta sauce with them. I made this recipe last night, cooking the pasta in my bottled sauce oh and it was to die for. @Ruthep you are 100% correct.

Cooking the pasta in the sauce is a time saver and the pasta lets out some of it's starchiness as it cooks and adds to the texture of the sauce. It thickens it and changes the taste just a little. But, in a good way. Pasta has always been a go to in my family. Homemade pizza too. So, we almost always have the toppings for this. If you don't want to buy extra ingredients, use spaghetti sauce that has onions or peppers or mushrooms in it.
