Spaghetti Sauce


  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 28-oz cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2 28-oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2 5-1/2-oz cans tomato paste
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon savory
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp paprika


Fry ground beef with onion and garlic. Blend all other ingredients together in a large pot. Add meat; bring to a boil and cook approx. 2 hours, uncovered, on low heat, stirring regularly. Freezes well.
