Easy Rigatoni Alla Vodka

  • 2 ounces olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 4 ounces ham (optional)
  • 6 ounces cream
  • 4 ounces red wine
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Romano cheese grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pound rigatoni, cooked
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chili pepper


  1. Heat oil and butter in frying pan.
  2. Cook onion and garlic.
  3. Add tomatoes and ham and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add cream, wine, vodka, cheeses, salt, pepper.
  5. Reduce over medium heat for several minutes.
  6. Toss with cooked pasta and serve with parsley and chili pepper.
