This is not your grandmother's lemon bars recipe. Microwave Lemon Bars are perfect to make during the hot summer, since you don't need to turn on your oven. Using the microwave is guaranteed to not heat up your house and will cut the "baking" time down by a lot. Plus, believe it or not, this easy microwave dessert is incredibly delicious—you’ll never want to use your oven to make lemon bars again after trying this recipe.
To create this quick dessert recipe, the preparation time is easily fewer than ten minutes. To begin, you will simply "bake" the crust for a few minutes, add the filling, and "bake" the lemon bars for another few minutes. Finally, you will put the bars in the refrigerator to chill until they are ready. It’s that simple!
This unique microwave dessert recipe is so easy, you may even start making these tasty lemon bars in the winter, too!

These sound amazing! It's hard for me to imagine that these are done in the microwave. My husband loves lemon bars. I will have to make these for him! I just bought lemons from the store, so it's perfect. I think I will use a little bit of extra zest in the crust, just to give them the zing that he likes. I can't to try these fresh from the microwave!
