    Chocolate Fudge Frosting

    Ingredients

    • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
    • 1/4 lb. butter
    • 1 pound confectioner's sugar
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 2 teaspons vanilla
    • 1/2 to 2/3 cup chopped pecans

    Instructions

    for a two layer cake. Melt butter and chocolate in a heavy saucepan. Cool.Stir sugar, milk and vanilla together until smooth. Add chocolate mixture. Set bowl in a pan of ice and water and beat frosting with a wooden spoon until it is thick enough to spread. Fold in nuts.
