On a hot summer day, reach for one of these delicious Prosecco Pops. Ice cold popsicles are the perfect treat to help you stay cool. These homemade popsicles are made entirely from your favorite prosecco, a few slices of strawberries, and a couple petals of edible flowers. They're gorgeous desserts that taste even better than they look. These ice pops are just the thing to eat while you sunbathe by your backyard pool. Be sure to keep these out of the reach of children, though!

NotesPlease note: This recipe is intended for those 21 and over.

Cooking Vessel SizePopsicle molds

  • Chilled prosecco (of your choice)
  • Edible flowers (found at most grocery stores in the packaged herbs section)
  • Strawberries, hulled and sliced

  1. Drop a slice or two of strawberry in the bottom of the empty popsicle mold.

  2. Add a few petals of edible flowers.

  3. Carefully fill each mold with Prosecco. Be sure to allow bubbles to subside and fill any remaining space in each mold.

  4. Place tops on the molds and freeze overnight.  Pops will remain slightly soft.

I love the sound of these prosecco pops! We are growing courgette plants and the flowers on top of them are edible so I would love to try incorporating them into these pops instead of having to buy edible flowers! Has anyone tried this with other berries instead of strawberries? It could be nice to have a few different varieties?
