  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 teaspoons water
  • Optional: Vanilla extract, almond extract

Translucent Sugar Glaze Recipe

  1. Sift powdered sugar into a medium mixing bowl.

  2. Add water and whisk mixture together until smooth. If mixture is too thin, add a little more sugar. If it's too thick, add a little more water. The glaze should be thin enough to that it's transparent when drizzled on baked goods.

  3. Optional: Add a few drops of vanilla extract or almond extract to add some flavor to your glaze!

  4. Drizzle on top of baked goods such as pound cake, cookies, and more!
