Whether you're looking for holiday dessert recipes or just yummy ideas for pumpkin, this Delicious Pumpkin Pudding is great all year round. It's simple to make and a great fall dish.

Serves: 16

  • 2 boxes vanilla pudding (prepared according to package directions)
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  1. Mix pumpkin, sugar, and spices in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Mix in pudding. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Chill and serve.

From recipe author: You may want to cut this recipe in half unless you have a lot of guests. I am used to cooking for a large crowd, especially at holiday seasons.

I am assuming it would be 8 oz. of cool whip since that is the standard however, I am not sure about the type of pudding. I usually use instant it is much easier and quicker. I like this pudding recipe because it is so simple but I definitely think it needs some type of topping like crushed up spiced wafer cookies or some chopped, spiced nuts like walnuts!

Is it instant or regular pudding, and what size cool whip, 8 oz or 16 oz, very poor ingredient listings
