You can turn angel food cake into churros? I had no idea that you could take angel food cake and make it into something so delicious. My daughter hates angel food cake, but I bet she changes her mind after I give her this dessert. I am not going to tell her what the cake is until she tells me she likes the churro bites.

These look so good! I love how easy it is to make these churros.

We're fortunate to have several authentic Mexican restaurants in the area, so I've had some actual churros. These are quite good and wonderfully tasty. Of course, with the combination of angel food cake and cinnamon sugar, how can you go wrong? I'd like to try this with coconut oil as well. I don't have any on hand right now, but it's worth picking up some to try frying them in that.

Can't say enough good things about this dessert. I'm usually not a fan of frying pastries, but this one is a no brainer. It just doesn't get any easier than this. The result is a tasty bite full of sheer delight. These are definitely going on the dessert table of my Super Bowl party this year.

Is there a certain oil that would work best here? I basically buy olive oil, butter, and sometimes coconut oil. Butter would work, but I think coconut oil would actually work better. It has a higher smoking point. Plus, the flavor from the coconut oil would be good. And what's not to love about cinnamon and sugar?

What a unique combo of desserts! I think these would be good to bring in for a holiday party!

I have never had a churro before, so I don't know what they taste like? This recipe for Angel Food Cake Churro Bites sounds so good. I make cinnamon sugar pie dough bites and we love Angel Food cake so this one sounds like a win win. I will have to try this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free recipe.
