I made a spiced buttercream frosting the other day to top my carrot cake muffins and it was good but way too sweet from all of the powdered sugar! I really like this recipe because the melted white chocolate chips take the place of some of the powdered sugar. They add a different kind of subtle sweetness. If you want chocolate icing, it's an easy switch!

This is now the only frosting recipe that I will use. I made some cake pops and used this frosting. They were more than amazing! Everyone raved over them, and the only thing that I did differently was use this frosting! I am never buying store bought again! You can also customize this! I have made dark chocolate, milk chocolate, peanut butter, and butterscotch from this! Great recipe!

I've been looking everywhere for a new white chocolate frosting recipe, since I lost mine a while ago--this one is so decadent but not too heavy!
