I love how simple and easy this recipe is to make. I prefer the cream cheese icing on my cakes because it adds a bit more flavor and texture than the whipped cream, but I can see making one of each and asking everyone to tell me their favorite the next time we have a large family gathering.

Good recipe for yellow cake and you can choose to make cream cheese frosting or whipped cream frosting. The whipped cream frosting is just whipped cream like you would serve with pie. The cream cheese frosting doesn't call for much powdered sugar. It says you may need to add more. I can almost guarantee that you will.
