Easy Apple Cinnamon Dump Cake
Easy Apple Cinnamon Dump Cake is a simple cake recipe that you can prep in a snap. Easy dessert recipes don't get better than dump cakes, because you don't have to worry about how they look, just how they taste, and this recipe taste ridiculously good. Dump all your ingredients into the pan with the cake mix on top, and bake until gooey underneath and a little bit crispy on top. You can't go wrong with this recipe!

Ingredients
- 2 (21-ounce) cans apple pie filling
- 1 (16.5-ounce) box spice cake mix
- 1/2 cup cinnamon chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Cover bottom of pan evenly with pie filling.

In a medium bowl, combine spice cake mix, cinnamon chips, pecans, and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle dry mixture on top of pie filling layer. Drizzle melted butter on top.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm or cold, topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Everything about this recipe was made just for me...spice cake and apples with a plethora of cinnamon? Omg ...yes please! I never knew there was such a thing as cinnamon chips, but I'm on a mission to find them so I can make this gem of a recipe. Definitely gonna be serving it Ala mode with some vanilla ice cream soon!

This is a great cake but try it with either a caramel cake mix or drizzle with caramel sauce while still warm

I don't usually like apple desserts, but this dump cake was tasty. I think I'll use vanilla cake mix next time rather than spice cake mix. The flavor of the crust was a bit too much.

The cinnamon chips on top of the cake were definitely my favorite part. I also loved that the pecans added a little crunch. I would definitely make this cake in the fall - I love that you can use cake mix!

I think I had three helpings of this. I don't even like apple desserts that much but the apples were soft and the crunchy cinnamon topping was perfect. Yum!
