This is very quick and easy to make. The beans would be a good side dish for a barbecue or picnic. To feed more people, double the recipe. I would probably use barbecue sauce, instead of ketchup to give the beans a smokier flavor. This could be a main dish, if paired with some rolls, making for a simple lunch.

Here is a link that is helpful with conversions. Baked beans and hotdogs are essentially cooked, so all you have to do is warm them in your low cooker. I normally start my baked beans on high for about an hour, then turn it down to low for another 2 or more hours. They are bubbling with that timing.

Most of your good slow cooker cookbooks have a conversion chart for converting regular to slow cooker times. Hope this helps. Spider

Does anyone know how long to cook this in a slow cooker? Does anyone know of a site that converts bakingcooking times to slow cooker times? Thanks!
