OMG I broke the golden rule of my Italia heritage and actually trusted the author Bacon Wrapped Parmesan Crackers recipe and used that cheap non refrigerated cheese in the green jar for this recipe. Well, in spite of all my Italian relatives turning over in their graves, I'm glad I did. This recipe is absolutely great. That cheese melts into the crackers with the bacon, and the addition of more of it on top was perfect. This This "cheap cheese" appetizer was a big hit on game day. Kust hide the jar and no one will know.
