Extra Nutty Irishman

Treat yourself to a cocktail this St. Patrick's day and get a little nutty. The Extra Nutty Irishman is a simple drink that is perfect for parties.

Notes

If you don't feel like springing for the Irish Mist, you can make a pretty good drink from just the Frangelico and Irish Cream.

Ingredients

1 ounce Frangelico
1 ounce Irish Mist (a liqueur)
1 ounce Irish Cream (Carolans or Bailey's)

Instructions

Combine ingredients. Chill.

I always enjoy looking at new drink combinations. When our son comes to visit, he usually has a number of odd drinks he and his friends have come up with. I think he'd really enjoy this, though it has much fewer in the way of ingredients than the drink recipes he usually shares. I think the use of the Irish Mist is important to the overall taste of the drink, but I tend to agree that just the Frangelico and Bailey's would work, especially if mixed with some vanilla ice cream.
