I love Tortellini, and the idea of making it into a "macaroni" salad is terrific. This Asparagus Tortellini Pasta Salad recipe is just the thing for my Memorial Day bar-b-que. Going to take kmcartoonity 62072 74 suggestion and add some pitted kalamata olives to it, just for a little extra layer of flavor, plus they really go great with the feta cheese.

This salad will be delicious and filling. It won't take up much time to make as well. I like the instructions on cooking up the asparagus so it does not over cook. The feta cheese is a nice addition as well. Thank you.

This pasta salad is simple to make and delicious to eat. YUM!

Tortellini pasta salad just screams summer to me! It is great as a side dish or very easy to turn into an entree with the addition of a protein source. For this pasta salad recipe, I would add either grilled chicken or sweet italian sausage for a meat protein source. Or I would add chick peas to keep it vegetarian!

I made this salad up this morning to take with me to a picnic lunch at the park, and I was very happy with the results! I made my own balsamic dressing, since it only takes a couple of extra minutes, and I didn't have any prepared dressing on hand. Next time I might try adding some pitted kalamata olives to it.
