I haven't made this yet, but I've always thought it was a recipe my family would like. I was thrilled to see it has cheese in it too because I firmly believe all good food needs cheese. I also really like the sauce this one calls for. i can't wait to give it a try.

I can't resist the sound of this chicken, creamy and crispy and cheesy! I love new chicken recipes, and I especially like baked chicken recipes because I don't fry. The picture makes this look so appetizing. Now I have to change one of my dinner plans for next week so I can fit this recipe in!

Yummy crispy, cheesy chicken! I don't often see cheddar and chicken together. Mostly I see Parmesan cheese used for coating. Cheddar gives it a deeper flavor. Cracker crumbs always make a good coating, They crisp up so nice and have a flavor you can't replicate. I don't think it needs a sauce, though the sauce would go lovely with mashed potatoes.

The chicken came out quite tender and flavorful, altho I changed it a bit and added about 1/4 c. of grated parmesan to the 1 sleeve of ground Ritz crackers, rather than cheddar. I had 2 boneless/skinless ckn breasts, pounded them thin, then dusted with flour, then into an egg 2 t. half/half, then into a gallon bag with the cracker crumbs, parm, and dried parsley, sp,and garlic powder. I made the sauce, which was ok, but dh and I both thought the chicken didn't need the extra calories.

Thanks for letting us know how it turned out. We're glad you liked it!
