Portuguese Kale Soup
Ingredients
- 2 pounds kale deveined and coarsely chopped
- 1/2 pound chourico sausage
- 14 0z can kidney beans
- 1/4 cup salt pork diced.
- 1 cup potatoes cubed
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 6 cups water
Instructions
Saute salt pork and onions.Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil and simmer covered for 1 hour. Smash some of the potatoes to thicken soup
