Baked Buckwheat Kasza Gryczana

Baked Buckwheat Kasza Gryczana

Buckwheat is a staple of much of Eastern Europe's cuisine. Whip up a batch of baked buckwheat as a tasty change of pace for tomorrow's breakfast!

  • 3 water
  • 1 salt
  • 1 1/4 buckwheat groats
  • butter

1. Heat the oven to 300 degrees F. Bring the water to a boil and add the salt and buckwheat. Simmer until the groats have absorbed most of the water. Drain thoroughly.

2. Arrange in a greased ovenproof dish and bake for 20 minutes. Each grain should be dry and separate. Serve with a pat of butter.
