Hungarian Cabbage and Noodles

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 slices bacon cut up
  • 1 head cabbage shredded
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 16oz. package wide egg noodles
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • caraway seed (optional)
  • 1-16oz. package wide egg noodles

Instructions

Cook bacon in a large pan on med/med-hi until crisp. Do not drain the grease. Add the cabbage, salt, pepper, and caraway seed, stirring occasionally. While cabbage is cooking down, roughly 15 minutes, boil the noodles according to pack age directions. When noodles are done, drain and toss with cabbage.
