Spaghetti Carbonara


  • 400 gr spaghetti
  • 200 gr bacon
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 4 very fresh eggs
  • 5 Tbsp cream
  • 100 gr fresh parmesan cheese, grated
  • black pepper to taste, freshly ground


Yield: 4 servings for smaller appetites. Cook spaghetti according to directions on package. Meanwhile, dice bacon and fry lightly in oil. Crack eggs into large bowl (big enough to hold the cooked pasta), mix with cream. Add parmesan cheese to egg/cream mixture, season with pepper. Drain spaghetti well. Add spaghetti and bacon to the egg/cheese mixture and mix well (spaghetti should be coated in sauce and egg should coagulate). Serve immediately and enjoy!
