Heat the sour milk until it reaches 100F. When it reaches this temp., pour into a strainer lined with cheese cloth. Pour over 1 quart of hot water. When I make lasagne, I make my own tomato sauce and cheese sauce, I am not a fan of canned products but anyway I make a cottage cheese sauce as it is much healthier than a regular cheese sauce and I think it is just as tasty! But I would love to be able make my very own cottage cheese to use in it so I will definitely be giving this a try!!
