Classic Homemade Peanut Butter Cups

Who wouldn't love these Classic Homemade Peanut Butter Cups? They're just like the candy we've all grown to love, but taste better because they're homemade! This is an easy recipe for kids, too. They will love making and eating these yummy treats!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Melt the semisweet chocolate, milk chocolate, and butter in a double boiler (over hot water), stirring until smooth.
     
  2. Melt peanut butter separately in the same manner.
     
  3. Pour about a tablespoon of the chocolate mixture into 16 cupcake liners; let cool. 
     
  4. Pour a tablespoon of the melted peanut butter over each chocolate later; let cool.
     
  5. Pour a tablespoon of the chocolate mixture on top. Cool at least one hour. Trim excess paper from top.
