- 1 cup whiskey, brandy, or sherry
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 chipotle pepper
Mix all ingredients and place steaks and marinade in one big ziplock bag. Press out all the air. Seal. Toss in the fridge for at least 24 hours or up to 3 days. The longer you leave it, the stronger the marinade will make the meat taste and the more tender it will become. Take this into account if you are using a strong tasting alcohol and leave it in for less time. When done, discard the marinade and season the steaks to your liking.
