I was way overdue to go to the grocery store, so I used what I had in my pantry and frig to make this Bisquick version of creamed chip beef. It turned out great and with a lot less fat than the traditional version. I made Bisquick dumplings in beef broth and put in a package of thin sliced beef (like Buddig). When it was done, I added a little milk. It was creamy and filling on a cold snowy day in Ohio!

I love all recipes I make with bisquick! Would not be without it in my cupboard.

My favorite recipe for Bisquick is the Impossible Quiches...so yummy, so easy and so much fun to play with ingredients!

An old recipe from back (or side) of the box -Microwave pumpkin muffins may have just been a classic microwave recipe and showed variations of it ... using canned pumpkin, or applesauce. I tried using a banana microwave version, substituting 1/2 C pumpkin for the 1/2 C mashed bananas, but it didn't turn out tasty. Does anyone have that microwave recipe using canned pumpkin?

Hi jepkbr 5413218 - We have a recipe on our site for banana bread with Bisquick. I hope this helps: www.recipelion.com/Quick-Bread-Recipes/One-Pan-Banana-Bread Thanks! Blair, Editor, RecipeLion.com

Looking for an old Bisquick receipe for banana bread. Very good and easy. I call their 800 and they don't have any more

Yes, I have it, this is the only way I make it! (I use canola oil) ONE PAN BANANA BREAD 1/3 c veg. oil 1-1/2 c mashed bananas (3-4 large) 1/2 tsp vanilla 3 eggs 2-1/3 cups Bisquick 1 c sugar 1/2 c chopped nuts (opt) Preheat oven to 350. Generously grease bottom of loaf pan. Blend all ingre. Pour into pan. Bake 55-60 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

Could you please tell me if the gluten free bisquick can be used in place of the original bisquick?

I add a large spoonful of Bisquick to my mother's pie crust recipe. I think it makes the crust just a little flakier.

Our most favorite Bisquick recipe is the Impossible Cheesecake. It's thick and yummy, just like my husband loves it. Better than most restaurant cheesecakes and so easy to make. I often top it with canned cherry pie filling.

Thank you Recipe Lion, Ive used Bisquik for years now since I ran out of flour and sent one of my kids to the store and they returned with a box of Bisquik (suggested by a store employee), I was a little upset as I needed flour, but the dumplings and biscuits were better than if I used the flour, so I usually just buy a small baf of flour that will last me several months, but have to buy the big box of Bisquik every week, I was wondering if you could use the gluten free or heart healthy Bisquik in these recipes?

Hi Wadeckiburn, You can absolutely substitute alternate versions of Bisquick to suit your needs. Enjoy! --editors of RecipeLion

I love using Biaquic!! Most of the recipes are very good, easy, and fast!!

I always have a box in my pantry.

I do in mine too! Though once the box is open I move it to the fridge since I buy the largest box to help keep it fresh. :-)

When it comes to baking we consistently hear from readers how much they love working with Bisquick. So I was so happy to put together this collection of favorites. I do hope you enjoy exploring new recipes. Thanks! Sarah (editor)
