Christmas M&M Cookies
Here's our favorite recipe for this beloved and simple classic. Use green and red MM's for the holidays.
Notes
Makes about four dozen.
Ingredients
- 1/2 bag M&M's or chocolate chips (6 oz) (use green and red if you like)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Mix sugar and shortening.
- Mix in eggs and flavorings.
- Add dry ingredients and mix well.
- Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12- 15 min. (if dark pan check at 11 minutes)
